Gregory Szydlo, Zoning Board of Appeals

  Greg Szydlo is a current incumbent on the Zoning Board of Appeals, a position he has held since 1987. In addition, he has served as the Board’s Chairman since 1992.

  Greg first became a Burlington resident in 1943, and after a short time away returned to town more than 30 years ago. He was active in the local Boy Scouts, serving as that organization’s Treasurer and Assistant Scout Master.

  Greg earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. Currently retired, he had worked as a Financial Director for the Travelers Insurance Company. Greg also served for eight years in the United States Army, and was awarded a Bronze Star during his service as a First Lieutenant in Vietnam.

  Greg and his wife Persephone have three children.
